Thinking of California and the freeways, you can’t just not think about classic cars. And more specifically classic Porsches.

1957 Porsche 356A Outlaw on the freeway

Today, when most media and most people turn their attention to the newest car technology, we want to turn to classic cars. We have to because California is the beehive for classic cars. This classic 1957 Porsche 356 Outlaw is a beautiful automobile that has been completely restored. It is an “outlaw” as Jay Leno explains because it was basically rebuild to something else, something more awesome.

They explained that the car was beyond repair and the restoration specialist Olenyk used only the chassis. He turned it into a speedster, he thought it should have been in the first place anyway, using modern parts.

Jey Leno was truly impressed by the restoration work and he even said the car feels bulletproof. The test drive on the freeway proved that Porsche is stable and handles the roads and the speed amazingly well. Check out the video from the Jay Leno’s Garage show.
