Old Cars Old Faces … making us laugh

Classic cars usually entail serious talk. Heck, collectors around the world pay millions of dollars for classic cars at auctions like Barret Jackson and RM Auctions, and this is serious money. I love classic cars and I try to write about them often. So, I have quite a few serious talks about classic cars. I even visit museums, classic car shows and I even participate in classic car communities and groups, as often as I can.

Moreover, I also try to talk to collectors who ship their vehicles with us. Not everyone is willing to talk to me of course. After all I am not some famous reporter, but some customers have shared their stories, like this story we posted on the blog. It’s a pleasure writing about classic automobiles like this 1941 Lincoln Continental, or this 1965 Pontiac Catalina or of course about this 1972 Porsche 911.

Yet, lately I have been feeling that something is missing. After I gave it a little thought, I decided I am missing the amusing part. I decided I need to find and share some real funny content and so I set about to discover funny looking classic cars. I searched the net and here is what I discovered.

We all know what that is, and nevertheless it's still funny!

So, this is Citroen 2 CV looking kind of sad and funny in the same time.

And now this is old and weird, but still kind of cute and my favorite make.

This Ford truck is old, scary and funny in the same time. My be it just needs a little polishing.

Now, this one is quite the opposite – funny and joyful – the name implies it.

And now another Ford. This one is trying really to be upbeat, but I don’t know the success rate.

I am really alternating them here, but it’s not intentional at all. Another Fiat, this one trying to be mean.

Another European making the list here. An old Citroen. We can guess the model together.

This one was called an extraordinary vehicle made in Germany after the World War II. I don’t think I can support this claim though. Germans have since made much better stuff.

And the last, but not least funny and deserving attention is another European vehicle. Tell me what do you think about it?

Which car did you like the most? Which one do you think is funny and which is sad or mean? Please, share your opinion and feel free to add to the list. I will be happy to edit and include more vehicles.

Excellent and professional service at a competitive price. The vehicle showed up on time and the drivers were courteous and quick. We had to make a few adjustments on the delivery location because of roads etc but this was no problem. Great experience and I felt they took care of my car for me. This was my deceased mothers car so it has sentimental value to me and they really cared about the car. Thank you... Date of experience: October 29, 2024

I've used Corsia Logistics twice now to send a Porsche and classic Mercedes. Both times the car was picked up on time, the driver was communicative and on my second shipment, arrived a day earlier than scheduled. They have a tracking system, so I know where my car is at all times. I will continue to use Corsia for all my long-haul car transportation needs. Date of experience: October 28, 2024
